Violent Assault Detection & Defense Course

Surviving violent physical encounters requires three major elements:  1. A heightened level of situational awareness. 2. Surviving the initial attack.  3. Re-seizing the initiative and making the attacker react to you.  In this course, you will be taught to avoid dangerous situations, notice pre-attack indicators and practice the application of easy to remember, practical self defense techniques.

For this course please wear comfortable clothes that allow for movement and self-defense techniques in both a standing and prone position.  Anything from range attire to gym clothes are acceptable.  Both men and women will get something from this course.  Techniques are simple but effective and outside the realm of traditional martial arts which require significant time and effort to master.  Students with pre-existing injuries will need to inform the instructor and may be asked to sit out of some physical activities but may still participate in class.
